Established in 1983.Trotter Overhead Door Garage and Home of Edmond and the Oklahoma City area is a full service garage door company locally owned and operated by Jesse and Tina Trotter. In 1983, they recognized Edmond was growing by leaps and bounds and there was not a thriving garage door company. Jesse had worked within the garage door business for many years and became very knowledgeable about their function, installation and repair. At the time, Jesse and Tina had been married for 5 years, had a 2 year old son, Jacob, and a baby on the way, so they decided to begin their own business venture. They rented a 400 sq. ft. space and while Tina answered the phones and entertained their toddler, Jesse tirelessly installed and repaired garage doors and openers. After 30 plus years, 4 married grown children; Jake, Jessica, Nathan, and Brittany; 6 grandchildren and more expected, the Trotters built a beautiful 15,000 sq. ft. permanent home for their growing business.
