The company offers the latest in decorative kitchen and bath plumbing and hardware for homes and offices. Its commercial division provides hardware and fixtures for new businesses and institutions. The company’s aftermarket sales and service department provides doors, frames and hardware to existing businesses. Willis Klein has locations in Louisville, KY and Lexington, KY. It is a member of the DPHA, Forte, Home Builders Associations of Lexington, Louisville and Southern Indiana, Associated Locksmiths of America and Central States Associated Locksmiths of America. Established in 1961.WillisKlein has been locally owned and operated for over 45 years. Larry R. Klein, Willis’ son, is the current owner. Larry recalls first working for his father the summer he was 12, sweeping floors and cutting keys. When Larry became president in 1978 the company had one division (locksmiths) and eight employees.In the early l980s, Larry began noticing that customers were going to Williamsburg, Va., to purchase the locks they needed.
