In 1960, Willis Klein, a second-generation locksmith, started his business with a true dedication to the spirit of service. Today, Willis Klein is owned and operated by Willis’ son, Larry R. Klein. Larry is committed to continuing to provide customer service in our showrooms that go above and beyond. Our highly trained locksmiths specialize in installation and repair services for residential locks. At our key shop in Louisville, we offer key replacements and duplications. We also have three spacious showrooms throughout Central Kentucky that feature kitchen faucets, bathroom sinks, doorknobs, cabinets, and much more. Larry recalls first working for his father the summer he was 12, sweeping floors and cutting keys. When Larry became president in 1978 the company had one division (locksmiths) and eight employees.In the early l980s, Larry began noticing that customers were going to Williamsburg, Va., to purchase the locks they needed.
